ABS Copolymer: Advantages & Uses for Heat-Resistant Engineering Plastic

Fuyou Establishes ABS Production Line in Shanghai

Fuyou, a leading chemical company based in the international city of Shanghai, China, has announced that it has established a new production line for acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS). This hard and tough engineering plastic is widely used in various industries such as appliance housings, luggage manufacturing, pipe fittings and automotive interior parts.

The introduction of this new production line marks an important milestone for Fuyou. The company was founded back in 2009 and since then it has grown into a comprehensive chemical enterprise. The newly established ABS production line is expected to increase Fuyou’s output capacity significantly and help the company to meet its customers’ needs more efficiently.

Essentially made from styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer modified by butadiene rubber, ABS offers excellent heat resistance which makes it suitable for many applications requiring stable performance under high temperatures. It also features good impact strength so that even after being subjected to heavy shock or vibration it will maintain its shape without any deformations or cracks. In addition to these properties ABS can be easily processed using conventional techniques like injection molding and extrusion so that manufacturers can enjoy fast turnaround times when producing products out of this material.

Fuyou is committed to providing quality materials at competitive prices while still meeting stringent environmental regulations regarding energy use efficiency during manufacturing processes as well as emissions control during operation periods. With the introduction of this new production line the company hopes not just to improve their current product offerings but also expand their customer base with superior service levels worldwide.
