Sep 20,2026 Real-Time Global Rubber Raw Material News: Market Shock Finishes, Price Range Consolidation

As of September 20, 2026, the global rubber market enters a consolidation phase after early-month sharp fluctuations.

For natural rubber, Southeast Asia tapping season is disturbed by continuous rainfall, limiting fresh latex supply. ANRPC data shows a 280,000-ton global supply gap in 2026, supporting spot prices. Domestic NR spot hovers around 18150 CNY/ton, Qingdao bonded warehouse inventory keeps declining. Downstream tire factories only purchase rigid demand, major tire brands have raised finished tire prices to offset high raw material costs.

Synthetic rubber prices swing moderately. Butadiene feedstock remains at high levels, underpinning BR, SBR and EPDM cost. Petrochemical plant maintenance restricts synthetic rubber output. EV tire export volume surges year-on-year, forming steady long-term demand, while ordinary rubber goods makers stay wait-and-see.

Rubber additives maintain strong cost support. Accelerator CZ and zinc oxide prices hit a two-year high due to tight upstream chemical raw material supply.

RCEP cross-border rubber trade stays active. Buyers focus on stable shipment and competitive FOB price. The market will continue to track producing area weather, crude oil and butadiene price trend, as well as tire new order releases.
